Helping Disabled Citizens & Veterans To Become Independent
EIPF helps disabled individuals get the assistance they need to become independent. Each person is assigned an Advocate who assists them in discovering new life skills, training, resources and emotional support. An advocate understands each individual unique needs and tailors the relationship to help them get the resources that were otherwise not readily available.
An Advocate can assist in helping the individual to make his or her home disabled friendly, train them in unique ways to live normally with their disability to helping to find hand controls and training to drive a car.
In 2007, Judy Craig, the Founder and Executive Director of EIPF had a spinal stroke leaving her totally disabled. It was through her personal frustration and then perseverance that she found there are resources available to help disabled individuals to live a normal, fulfilling life. As someone who loves to help people, she wanted to give back by creating EIPF and providing Advocates, resources and tools so that everyone could realize that Everything Is Possible.

Votran ‘s Gold Service is available to persons who, because of physical or mental disability or age (Medicare) are unable to transport themselves and cannot use fixed-route bus service To Learn more and apply or see if you are eligible go to Volusia.org/votran/gold. Information and forms can be heard in an audio format or ask for the Paper Application format in English or in Spanish.
